This position exists to serve numerous clinical needs of our agency including conducting initial clinical evaluations and formulating diagnosis, counseling individuals, groups, and families, providing crisis services and interventions, and providing good clinical documentation for all services rendered. How does it get done? The key responsibilities for this position are conducting initial assessments and formulating a diagnosis, providing therapy, covering our crisis line and clinic, and completing quality clinical documentation. Therapists are required to complete progress notes, comprehensive clinical evaluations, discharge summaries, treatment plans, and crisis documentation. Who are the customers? Community Based Services clientele consists of adults 18 and over with a wide range of mental health needs. We provide in person services. Minimum Qualification Licensure in New Mexico as an LMSW, LISW, LMHC, LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or LPAT and one (1) year of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field above licensure requirements and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling one (1) year may substitute for the required experience.
