Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs to create effective and personalized treatment plans. Provide individual therapy sessions using tailored therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and regularly evaluate their progress to modify treatment approaches as necessary. Offer teletherapy options for clients to facilitate access to mental health services, especially for those facing mobility challenges. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical standards and state regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of current trends in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population seeking help for various mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and substance abuse. Our therapists strive to provide a nonjudgmental and empathetic therapeutic space that empowers clients to share their experiences and fosters their healing journey. Qualifications Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Demonstrated ability to build a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude, essential for understanding clients' unique struggles and triumphs.
