Opening for a Fee for Service Therapist, MSW, LMSW, LCSW, for Freeport Mental Health Agency to service children, adolescents, and adults in a clinic setting.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Mental Health Clinic, the Therapist will provide clinical therapy to Individuals and to their families, collaborating with psychiatric and other clinic staff in diagnosis and treatment planning by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

Provide mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. Bilingual is a plus. Experience working with queer and/or non-binary a plus. Maintain all client records in accordance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including OMH, Medicaid, Medicare, HIPAA, and other third-party payers as well as those outlined in SSGC Policy and Procedure Manual. Maintain ongoing communication (i.e., treatment coordination) with the Agency's professional staff and outside providers regarding information that would influence or change the provision of services. Follow and implement promptly all recommendations. Submits discharge summaries outlining care provided and recommendations for follow-up care upon completion of services. Receive ongoing clinical supervision as appropriate and according to professional practice and regulatory standards and attend all required SSGC trainings.
