Job Description

Boston Children's Health Physicians is looking to hire a Full Time LCSW or LMHC to join BCHP's Mental Health and Wellness division in Hawthorne, New York. This opportunity requires a professional with the ability to address a variety of patient needs, age groups, and diverse backgrounds. Some of the qualities we are looking for in candidates are strong experience, warm personality, flexible, adaptable to different situations. This is a full time position. The annual salary will be $79,000-$80,000.00 with an incentive bonus. Paid time off (PTO), including 20 days'vacation, as well as personal, sick and Holiday pay. This position comes with both Medical and dental benefits, as well as 401k. The schedule of this position will be Monday-Thursday 9:00am- 7:00pm or 9:30am- 7:30pm. There are no weekends and no on-call schedule for this position. We also offer a stipend for continuing education. Job Duties Provide individual and/or family therapy to children and adolescents Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy, to address the unique needs of each client. Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner using the Electronic Health Record system Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance professional growth and ensure quality care
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or counseling Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW or LMHC) in New York Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds At least two years' experience providing therapy to children and adolescents utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities Strong knowledge of child development Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, knowledge of best practices working with children and families.
