Role:

As an ABA Therapist, you will work closely with our team of experienced clinicians and educators to design and implement individualized therapy plans for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Your expertise in either Special Intruction or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) will enable you to facilitate positive behavioral change and promote skill development in areas such as social, communication, and adaptive skills. You will also collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to treatment.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement individualized ABA therapy plans for children with autism and other developmental disabilities Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and need Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans to address challenging behaviors Provide direct therapy services to children, including one-on-one and group sessions Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to treatment Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in

ABA Requirements:

MA/MS and New York State certification in any one of the following areas: Special Education Permanent Certificate Students with Disabilities Birth - Grade 2 Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) Teacher of the Deaf/Vision All experience levels welcome to apply, strong understanding of ABA principles and early intervention techniques preferred Proficiency with computers and electronic billing systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and caregivers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and adaptability Benefits Competitive compensation with direct deposit.
