Work Environment This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring access to a supportive outpatient office environment. Working closely with a collaborative team of professionals, you will be able to provide individual and group therapy sessions as required. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate patient needs. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting clients in processing their traumatic experiences, building coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing. Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless integration of care, facilitating holistic treatment approaches. Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, assisting clients in navigating short-term distress and ensuring their safety. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you will serve mainly include individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our focus is on giving a voice to trauma survivors and equipping them with the tools necessary for healing. You will have the chance to work with diverse populations, adapting your therapeutic approaches to meet unique needs and backgrounds. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. A current and valid state licensure as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R is essential. Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities is a must. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.
