Part-Time / Part-Time with Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time Jay H. Berk, Ph.D. & Associates Beachwood, Ohio About the Practice Jay H. Berk, Ph.D. & Associates is an established multidisciplinary mental health practice located in Beachwood, Ohio. Our clinicians provide individualized mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families, with a strong emphasis on practical, collaborative treatment. We are continuing to grow our clinical team and are specifically looking for therapists who enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families . This position is available on a part-time basis , with the opportunity for a clinician who is interested to build a caseload and transition toward full-time work . Who We Are Looking For We are particularly interested in clinicians with experience or a strong interest in working with: Children and adolescents Families and parent-child dynamics Anxiety and depression ADHD and executive functioning challenges Autism and neurodiverse clients Behavioral and emotional regulation concerns Family conflict Social skills and peer relationships School-related concerns Parent coaching and support Candidates who enjoy working collaboratively with parents, schools, other providers, and members of a multidisciplinary clinical team are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities The therapist will:
Provide individual therapy to children and/or adolescents Provide family therapy and parent support as appropriate Complete clinical documentation in a timely and professional manner Develop individualized treatment plans and goals Communicate and collaborate with families and other providers when clinically appropriate Participate in consultation with other members of the clinical team Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with Ohio licensure requirements Qualifications Applicants should: Hold a current mental health professional license in the State of Ohio Have experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families Demonstrate strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills Be comfortable working independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative clinical team Have an interest in developing and maintaining an ongoing outpatient caseload We welcome applicants from a variety of clinical backgrounds and will consider both experienced clinicians and clinicians who are earlier in their careers and looking for an opportunity to grow within an established practice. Schedule and Growth Opportunity We are currently hiring for both: Part-Time Clinicians For therapists interested in maintaining a consistent part-time caseload. Part-Time with a Path Toward Full-Time For clinicians who would like to begin part-time, establish a caseload, and potentially transition into a larger or full-time clinical role as their caseload develops. Daytime, after-school, evening, and other scheduling opportunities may be available depending upon clinician and client needs. Compensation Compensation is structured as a percentage of collected clinical revenue and is commensurate with experience, licensure, and clinical background .
