Stepping Stone Community Services, LLC provides outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment to individuals from the community. We provide individual, couples and group therapy in a comfortable and confidential setting. We are looking for part-time or full-time Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse Counselor(s) to perform mental health services for children, adolescents, adults and families. Work will be provided in the office. The schedule is flexible.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide direct clinical care Conduct a thorough diagnostic assessment Ability to engage clients and assist in meeting treatment goals Develop and implement treatment plan Effective communication with family members, doctors, and others for coordination of care Maintain an accurate clinical record for each client Engages in supervision and consultation with other professionals Promotes the goals of the agency

Knowledge:

Knowledge of assessment and diagnosis Knowledge of treatment planning Knowledge of principles, theories and methods to treat mental and emotional issues Knowledge of clinical documentation standards Knowledge of ethical, legal and professional conduct

Skills:
