The Gulf Coast Sexual Assault Program's Trauma Therapy Treatment Team (T4) provides specialized treatment to adult survivors of sexual assault and adults who experienced sexual abuse during childhood. We are hiring a full-time Trauma Therapist to join our team. This position is based primarily at our satellite office located at 4014 Highway 90, Pace, FL 32571 , with the therapist currently working approximately four days per week in Pace and one day per week at our Shalimar office. Our program also has offices in Pensacola and Crestview, and occasional travel to other program locations may be required. T4 provides individual and group therapy to survivors and utilizes empirically supported treatment, as clinically indicated, to assist in recovering from abuse, prevent developmental impairment resulting from abuse, and promote healthy, non-abusive relationships.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or another appropriate behavioral science is required. Candidates must hold an appropriate clinical license in the State of Florida (such as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT), be registered with the State of Florida as a clinical intern, or be actively in the process of obtaining Florida Registered Intern status. Unlicensed therapists are expected to actively pursue full clinical licensure as a condition of employment in this position. Successful completion of a drug test and Level 2 background screening are conditions of employment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Interview adult survivors, family members, and significant others, as needed, to obtain biopsychosocial information for clinical evaluations. Provide individual and/or group therapy to adult survivors of sexual assault or childhood sexual abuse. Complete safety planning to prevent continued or future abuse. Monitor attendance, participation, and progress of clients and family members in treatment. Coordinate client services and referrals to community agencies. Attend multidisciplinary staffings, if applicable. Maintain client records, including tracking treatment goals and objectives. Complete closing summaries on all clients terminated from the program. Maintain mandatory sexual abuse training annually and report training in a timely manner to the designated Program Supervisor.

Registered Intern/Master's-Level Therapist:

$52,500 annually ($25.24/hour)

Licensed Therapist:

$63,000 annually ($30.29/hour) Following successful completion of the 90-day introductory period, employees may be eligible for flexible scheduling and up to one remote workday per week in accordance with Agency policy.
