Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, families, and couples, fostering positive change and resilience. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations using established clinical procedures and medical terminology. Deliver individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement counseling interventions tailored to clients' unique needs, including crisis intervention and crisis management strategies. Engage in case management activities, including data collection, treatment planning, progress tracking, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, or other mental health conditions. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to provide remote counseling services while ensuring client confidentiality and clinical documentation standards are met. Support clients' social work needs by working with families and caregivers to enhance home and community care outcomes. Maintain ongoing professional development by participating in clinical research initiatives and staying current with ICD coding updates (ICD-10/ICD-9) and CPT coding for billing purposes. Write documentation that is compliant with all

regulations by state and joint commission standards. Experience Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or related field from an accredited program; licensure as an AMFT or equivalent is preferred but not required at entry level. Prior experience working with children, families, couples, or individuals in a clinical setting is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols. Experience providing services via telehealth platforms with adherence to clinical documentation standards. Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis including ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding (CPT), and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings. Familiarity with special education systems or hospital environments is a plus. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining strict confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Strong communication skills for client engagement and documentation; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is advantageous.
