Type:

full-time Beth Gladstone Therapy, a small group practice that primarily serves LGBTQIA+ adults and adolescents, is seeking a motivated, independent, and self-disciplined limited permit therapist (e.g. LMSW) to join our growing clinical team.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of Beth Gladstone, LCSW, the associate therapist will provide individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy using a variety of treatment modalities. The associate therapist will be interested in having adolescent and adult clients. Associates are encouraged to identify specific populations of interest, for which they can utilize their specialized intervention skills. Associates will be provided an hour of individual supervision weekly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide weekly psychotherapy sessions to individuals (adolescents and adults), couples, and families Maintain a caseload of a minimum of fifteen clients Conduct initial evaluations and weekly sessions. Continuously evaluate cases to determine proper therapeutic approach and treatment goals. Provide therapeutic crisis intervention as required. Conduct consultation calls with prospective clients Collaborate with collateral multidisciplinary practitioners to treat clients in a holistic manner Engage in weekly clinical supervision Build referral network and recruit potential clients through mailing lists, social media, and professional websites A minimum of a two-year commitment to Beth Gladstone Therapy Please note: As Beth Gladstone Therapy is a small and growing practice, this position is ideal for someone that wants autonomy, independence and an individualized experience. The rate of client caseload growth can be initially slow and associates should expect limited hours to start while building to a full client caseload.

Background and Experience:

Master's degree or higher in Social Work or a related field Licensed or eligible for licensure as an LMSW, or LCSW Experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions Demonstrated competence providing affirming counseling to LGBTQIA population Commitment to supervision and professional development Excellent time management and administrative skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Practice from an anti-oppressive framework Dedication to providing culturally competent, inclusive care Adherence to professional codes of conduct and ethical standards Other professional experience is a plus (we love a career changer!)

Compensation:

Associate take home for any clients referred by practice: 40%/session fee Associate take home for any clients brought to practice by

Associate:

50%/session fee Associate take home if clinician maintains caseload of 20 weekly clients for 2+ weeks: 50%/session fee
