New U Therapy Center & Family Services is a well-established multidisciplinary mental health practice located in Torrance. We are passionate about providing high-quality care to our local community and are seeking dedicated and motivated Associate Psychotherapists to join our growing team! No Marketing Needed:
We maintain a steady stream of clients to help you build and sustain a full caseload.
What You'll Do:
You will typically be assigned 30 patient sessions per week but must maintain a minimum caseload of 25 patient sessions per week. Help clients set meaningful goals and work toward measurable outcomes. Diligently track clients' progress and serve as an accountability partner. Complete clinical documentation in a timely and legally compliant manner. Actively participate as a positive and collaborative member of the clinical team.
What You'll Need:
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
ACSW, AMFT, APCC
Completion of at least 1,000 post-graduate clinical hours toward licensure. Strong commitment to building therapeutic relationships and achieving meaningful outcomes for clients. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A desire to grow within a group private practice and remain with us after licensure. No history of receiving services from New U Therapy Center & Family Services. No immediate family member currently receiving services from

Have you been issued more than one registration number (subsequent registrant) by the BBS? How many BBS hours have you completed so far? (For associates only) Do you have experience working with children, families, couples, and/or adults? Do you have experience using an electronic health record? What is the maximum number of clients that you've carried on your caseload? The expectation for this position is to have 1 admin hour in every 10 billable hours/sessions. Are you okay to have 1 admin hour in every 10 billable hours? We start to build 1-2 shifts in the beginning and gradually increase it. Are you okay with gradually building your shifts and caseload? The minimum expectation for this position is 25 clients per week. Can you handle this caseload? Have you been credentialed to any insurance panels? Have you had any disciplinary actions against you by the Board? How soon can you start? Are you amenable to work at our Torrance office in hybrid set-up? Are you interested working full-time?
