In this vital role, you will provide expert behavioral support and intervention services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Duties Conduct comprehensive client assessments and behavioral evaluations to identify needs and develop tailored intervention plans. Implement skill acquisition programs based on ABA principles to foster communication, social skills, daily living activities, and adaptive behaviors. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust strategies accordingly. Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients in various settings, including homes, clinics, or community environments. Support behavior intervention plans by applying positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency across environments and maximize client outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all records are up-to-date for ongoing client care. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorders. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), skill acquisition programs in ABA, and behavior intervention techniques. Proven ability to collect detailed data during sessions and utilize it for effective treatment planning. Experience working with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or disabilities. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family education. Ability to perform patient assessments and support behavioral health initiatives effectively. Must have a Masters in degree in, psychology, special education, counseling, social work, education, Applied behavior analysis or gerentology. Or PA Behavior Specialist license.
