Life Support Behavioral Institute is a mental health facility that serves at risk children, youth and families. Behavior Specialist must be reliable and an effective communicator and be available for evenings and weekends. Experience working with at risk families a plus. Bilingual (English / Spanish) also a plus. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Also must keep accurate client records current and have reliable transportation to be able to transport children to appointment visits. Responsibilities Perform intakes and assessments Create individualized treatment plans for each client Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan Adhere to all facility and licensing standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or similar field Current and unrestricted clinical social worker license Previous experience as a behavioral health therapist preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized Flexible work from home options available.
