Provide individual psychotherapy to children ages 6-17, young adults, and adults experiencing mood disorders, trauma, stress, life transitions, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. Provide couples and family therapy within the clinician's scope of competence, training, and supervision, including the use of Gottman-informed approaches when appropriate. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment goals and plans. Develop thoughtful case conceptualizations that consider the client's developmental stage, relationships, family system, culture, environment, strengths, and presenting concerns. Utilize evidence-informed and developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions based on each client's needs and treatment goals. Maintain timely, accurate, ethical, and clinically appropriate documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and other required records. Complete risk assessments and safety planning when clinically indicated and promptly consult with a supervisor regarding higher-risk or complex clinical situations. Participate actively in required clinical supervision and come prepared to discuss cases, clinical questions, ethical considerations, professional development needs, and areas for growth. Seek consultation when working outside of current knowledge or experience and demonstrate openness to feedback, coaching, and continued skill development. Maintain appropriate professional and therapeutic boundaries and adhere to applicable ethical standards, legal requirements, practice policies, and Associate licensure requirements. Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, caregivers, supervisors, colleagues, and other appropriate members of a client's care team. Collaborate with parents and caregivers when clinically appropriate while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and boundaries when treating children and adolescents. Coordinate care and provide referrals or resources when clinically appropriate and authorized. Maintain consistent availability and work toward developing and sustaining an agreed-upon caseload. Manage scheduling, cancellations, documentation, and other clinical responsibilities with professionalism and accountability. Participate in team meetings, case consultation, trainings, and other professional-development opportunities as required. Contribute to a collaborative practice culture by sharing resources, participating in consultation, and supporting a respectful and inclusive team environment. Hold a current and active California Associate registration appropriate to their discipline (e.g., AMFT, ACSW, or APCC) and remain in good standing with the applicable licensing board. Be eligible to practice under clinical supervision in accordance with California requirements. Bilingual in English and Spanish , with the ability to conduct psychotherapy, assessments, treatment planning, and clinical discussions effectively in Spanish. Ability to communicate clinical concepts in Spanish in a manner that is clear, culturally responsive, and appropriate to the client's level of understanding . Demonstrated cultural humility and sensitivity when working with Spanish-speaking and Latino/Hispanic individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Understand professional ethics, confidentiality, mandated reporting, professional boundaries, and appropriate clinical documentation.
