Key Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions either in the client's home or remotely, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique circumstances of each child or family. Provide strategic support to clients, focusing on behaviors such as anger management, coping strategies, and fostering social skills while actively working to mitigate high-risk behaviors like self-injury or aggression. Enhance decision-making capabilities of adolescents and their caregivers to address and manage behavioral challenges within the home effectively. Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and multidisciplinary professionals to create and implement integrated treatment plans that support positive outcomes. Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including intake forms, treatment strategies, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. Participate in monthly team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to discussions that enhance service delivery and client outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who are dealing with developmental disabilities and cognitive issues. As a therapist at Wellcure, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, providing crucial support to individuals and their families during challenging times. Qualifications Must hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. An active and unrestricted LMFT license is required. Preferred Experience A proven background in providing positive behavior support and interventions is essential.
