Child Therapist Journey Forth Mental Health Counseling is seeking a licensed Child Therapist to join our growing practice. We are looking for a clinician comfortable maintaining a full caseload primarily of children and adolescents who enjoys working collaboratively with young clients and their families. This is a W2 fee-for-service position offering flexible scheduling, in-person and telehealth services, and competitive compensation. Position Details 25-30+ hours per week Flexible schedule Primarily children and adolescents Adults may also be available In-person and telehealth Competitive compensation At-will position Current professional mental health licensure required LMHC, LMHC-D, or LCSW only Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy to children and adolescents Work collaboratively with parents and caregivers Complete assessments and treatment plans Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Monitor client progress Complete appropriate safety/risk assessments Follow mandated reporting requirements Communicate with schools and other authorized third parties when appropriate Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality Maintain an active caseload Maintain appropriate availability Manage scheduling and appointment availability Provide both telehealth and in-person services Communicate with clients, caregivers, and Journey Forth in a timely manner Make appropriate referrals to other Journey Forth clinicians when indicated Participate in appropriate consultation and collaboration Expectations The successful candidate will: Be able to maintain a full caseload primarily consisting of children and adolescents Be dependable and consistent Maintain appropriate availability Keep documentation current and meet required deadlines Communicate professionally and promptly Be comfortable communicating with parents and caregivers Communicate appropriately with schools and other authorized professionals Maintain appropriate boundaries when working with minors Follow ethical, legal, licensing, and confidentiality requirements Manage their schedule responsibly Work independently while functioning as part of a collaborative practice Provide compassionate, respectful, nonjudgmental care Take responsibility for both clinical and administrative aspects of their caseload About Journey Forth Journey Forth Mental Health Counseling is a warm, client-centered practice grounded in compassion, hope, non-judgment, respect, and empowerment .
