Limited-license clinicians, including LLMSWs and LLPCs, are encouraged to apply. About the Position KCFC helps children overcome challenges and families find more shared joy. We are seeking team-oriented therapists to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and their families. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Scheduling is flexible and may include a combination of in-person and remote work. Candidates must be available for some afternoon or evening appointments. Primary Responsibilities Provide individual and family psychotherapy Complete psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans Provide education and support to children and caregivers Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team Participate in efforts to develop and maintain a strong referral base Qualifications Current Michigan license as an LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, or LLP Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field Experience providing individual, group, or family therapy Experience completing psychosocial assessments and treatment plans Ability to use electronic systems and complete assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and other required documentation in a timely manner A compassionate, energetic, creative, and collaborative approach to working with children and families Experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents is strongly preferred. Training or certification in one or more of the following evidence-based practices is especially valued: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Candidates with other relevant training or a strong history of providing mental health services to children and families are also encouraged to apply.
