Work Environment This position is fully remote, allowing therapists the flexibility to engage with clients via telehealth platforms. Our clinic utilizes advanced technology to ensure seamless communication and therapy delivery, ensuring our therapists can provide comprehensive care from the comfort of their home settings. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. This arrangement allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a significant impact on patients' lives. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances. Provide therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to address specific mental health issues. Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster a sense of community among participants and address shared mental health concerns. Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Offer crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stability for clients in distress. Educate clients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them toward recovery. Maintain thorough and confidential documentation for each client in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that case records are up-to-date and accessible. Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and improve therapy practices. Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including keeping abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus At The Good Mind Psychiatric Clinic, our therapists serve a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will work with adults, adolescents, and families, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet each client's unique needs and cultural background. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Massachusetts. Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, effective therapeutic modalities, and best practices in the field. Proven experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans. Experience providing both individual and group therapy services to a varied client base. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Sound judgment, adherence to ethical standards, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications. Strong collaborative skills, with a commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience working as a mental health therapist or counselor in a clinical setting. Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for conducting therapy sessions. Proficiency in culturally responsive therapy practices. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
