Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, carefully evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms. Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and clinical needs. Employ evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in your practice. Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders and available treatment options, emphasizing self-care practices. Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and therapeutic outcomes. Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork by collaborating with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated care for clients. Stay informed about emerging research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance your clinical practice. Maintain comprehensive, confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional education to continuously improve your therapeutic skills. Actively advocate for clients, striving to reduce mental health stigmas and addressing their unique needs and concerns. Patient Population / Client Focus As an LMFT at Oasis Care Therapy Services, you will be working primarily with individuals and families affected by mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Your role will involve guiding clients through their challenges, helping them develop effective coping strategies, and working towards positive mental health outcomes. You will be part of a compassionate team committed to creating a supportive environment for all clients. Qualifications A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Demonstrated ability to build a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental stance towards clients' experiences are essential. Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to manage client workloads efficiently. Preferred Experience Previous experience working with mood disorders or in a community health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with teletherapy and online counseling platforms is advantageous. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, particularly in addiction counseling or related areas. Compensation and Benefits A competitive annual salary ranging from
USD 90,000
