Couples Therapist Job Description At Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, we're passionate about supporting mothers and women through every stage of life, with a strong focus on maternal mental health. Our practice is growing and expanding the work we do with couples therapy. We're looking for clinicians who practice authentically and are excited to grow with a collaborative, mission-driven team. Because of our steady referral stream for couples counseling, you will build a full caseload quickly. What You Can Expect Outpatient couples and individual therapy (hybrid preferred but fully telehealth for right candidate. Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, PhD, Psy
D, LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT.
Active, unrestricted license in the State of North Carolina A copy of license must be provided to Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, PLLC.
Other Qualification Preferences:
At least two years' experience working in the mental health field. Prior experience and training working with couples. Training in perinatal mental health, certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C), working towards PMH-C exam, or willingness to get training within one year of employment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Telehealth or in person clinical counseling services to patients of Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, PLLC. On site available in Raleigh or Durham if preferred by candidate. Attend bi-weekly team meetings where we laugh, have fun and learn from each other! Complete documentation in accordance with company policies. Provide effective and quality therapy to our clients!
Work Hours:
We will decide together on a schedule that works well for you as long as you fulfill your contact hour requirement. Our clinicians typically work 3-5 days/week based on personal preference Minimum 18 patient contact hours/week for full-time; 12 contact hours/week for part-time Autonomy over your own schedule We have an amazing, fun, and cohesive team!
