Job Description
Overview Renewed Relationships Counseling Group is a growing private practice in Danville, CA specializing in couples therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). We are seeking a Couples Therapist - Licensed or Associate (EFT) who is passionate about helping couples build stronger, more secure relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who wants to focus on couples work while being part of an established, supportive private practice with a steady referral stream. Responsibilities & Duties Provide high-quality couples therapy , using or developing expertise in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) . Maintain a caseload of couples and individual clients as appropriate. Provide therapy in person at our Danville office and via telehealth as appropriate. Maintain a minimum of 3 in-person days per week at our Danville office . Provide daytime and/or evening availability , with some evening availability strongly preferred to accommodate couples' schedules. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation and maintain compliance with all professional and legal requirements. Maintain a professional, warm, and welcoming therapeutic environment. Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, and ongoing professional development. Collaborate with the practice owner and clinical team to support high-quality client care. For Associates, participate in required supervision and work toward licensure with support from the practice. Qualifications Active California LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license, or current AMFT, ASW, or APCC registration in good standing. Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. Strong interest and/or experience in couples therapy . Interest in learning and practicing from an EFT framework . EFT training is highly valued but not required. Warm, compassionate, relational, and emotionally attuned therapeutic style. Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills. Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of a clinical team. Strong commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality, relationship-focused care. Strong clinical documentation skills and commitment to timely completion of notes. Ability to provide a minimum of 3 in-person days per week at our Danville office is required. Availability for some daytime and evening hours is required.
