Role:
Laura E Asner CSW PC is looking for an Experienced Clinician to join their dedicated mental health practice in Bay Shore, NY. Responsibilities:
Provide individual sessions to a diverse client population Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care and treatment goals Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as clinically appropriate Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Participate in case consultations, supervision, and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related clinical field Active and valid NYS clinical license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) Minimum 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.) Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet documentation deadlines
