Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to children and adolescents experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Your expertise will help foster resilience, promote healing, and support kids, teens and families through personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments to understand each client's needs, assess risk, and determine appropriate treatment recommendations. Provide individual and family therapy tailored to each client's goals, needs, and presenting concerns. Work collaboratively with clients and families to identify challenges, develop practical coping strategies, and support progress throughout treatment. Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans and goals. Coordinate care with other providers, schools, mental health professionals, and community supports when appropriate and with proper consent. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and follow all professional and practice requirements. Maintain a minimum caseload of 15 individual therapy clients per week . Skills Proven experience working with children and youth in mental health or community care settings. Strong knowledge of child & family counseling techniques, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis. Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, and medical records management under HIPAA guidelines. Ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations tailored for diverse cultural backgrounds. Skilled in crisis management, conflict resolution, motivation interviewing, and trauma-specific interventions. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients' families and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care. Qualifications & Compensation Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania clinical license. Strong consideration will be given to applicants with availability during after-school hours, evenings, and/or weekends , based on current client demand. Compensation is 60-70% of insurance reimbursement , based on licensure level and weekly caseload.
