Work Environment This fully remote role will allow you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. While you will deliver therapy sessions online, you will also have the option to connect with colleagues at our outpatient office in Tacoma. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Monitor and track client progress over time using established therapeutic frameworks and methodologies. Document client interactions and maintain thorough clinical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create comprehensive treatment plans. Provide a supportive, structured therapeutic environment that fosters clarity and consistency, helping clients to navigate their challenges effectively. Facilitate workshops or group therapy sessions as needed to enhance community engagement and share therapeutic resources with clients. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base, including individuals and families across various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Clients may present with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your expertise will be essential in helping them develop resilience, insight, and coping strategies to improve their emotional health and relational dynamics. Qualifications A valid and active LMFT license in the state of Washington is required to practice. A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, ensuring a solid educational foundation in therapeutic modalities. Strong understanding of therapeutic frameworks and methodologies that inform your practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which promote a respectful and positive therapeutic relationship. Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment while maintaining professionalism and productivity. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of post-graduate counseling experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Experience providing therapy to a wide array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused approaches.
