You will work closely with a team of other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and counselors, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, employing best practices to ensure accurate diagnoses. Develop tailored treatment plans that align with clients' individual needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, ensuring a personalized approach to care. Implement evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients manage and overcome their mental health challenges. Educate clients and families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, fostering an environment of understanding and support. Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to respond effectively to their changing needs. Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and medical specialists to provide integrated care and ensure clients receive comprehensive treatment. Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, incorporating new knowledge into practice to enhance treatment effectiveness. Patient Population / Client Focus This position focuses on serving individuals and families facing a variety of mental health issues, with special attention to mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Qualifications A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory. Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills are crucial for building secure and trusting therapy relationships with clients. An empathetic, nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and challenges is essential to fostering effective therapeutic alliances. Preferred Experience Experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT and DBT is highly valued. Prior work in a community health setting or experience dealing with a diverse patient demographic is a plus. Familiarity with integrated care models and collaborative treatment planning is preferred. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 70,000
to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
