Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including conditions such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and personal goals. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress. Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, comprehensive treatment options, and effective self-care practices. Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and feedback. Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each client. Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal statutes and ethical standards. Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work towards reducing stigma associated with seeking mental health services. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing mood disorders, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds, including those who may face additional challenges such as homelessness, refugee status, or experiences of domestic abuse. Your expertise will contribute to transformative outcomes for these individuals, helping them navigate their mental health struggles and work toward recovery and stability. Qualifications Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required. Demonstrated ability to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship through effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to approach clients' experiences with empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude. Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure effective management of workload and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those affected by mood disorders and complex life challenges. Familiarity with integrated care models and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Previous experience providing therapy via telehealth platforms is an advantage. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this role ranges from
USD 70,000
