Work Environment This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while still providing rigorous support to our diverse client population. You'll participate in regular teletherapy sessions, utilizing a variety of digital platforms designed to enhance client engagement and rapport. We prioritize a team-oriented culture, encouraging collaboration among our mental health professionals through virtual meetings and case consultations. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client's circumstances. Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and resolving conflicts within relationships. Engage in family therapy to assist families in understanding and addressing relational dynamics and issues. Develop detailed, individualized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals and needs while keeping track of progress over time. Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of mental health disorders, ensuring that all relevant information is collected to provide accurate treatment. Collaborate with medical professionals and other stakeholders as needed, ensuring comprehensive care within a multidisciplinary framework. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients represent a wide range of backgrounds including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We focus on culturally competent care and strive to address each client's unique experiences and challenges. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be at the forefront of supporting a diverse clientele, utilizing your skills to create tailored interventions that foster healing and growth. Qualifications A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York. At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for building trust and rapport with clients. Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a community health clinic or similar settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with teletherapy practices and technology platforms is an asset. Experience with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in therapy practices. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 80,000
to 90,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive 401(k) retirement plan, generous paid time off, and coverage for holidays.
