Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status and needs. Providing individual and group counseling sessions with a focus on marriage, family, and relational dynamics. Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and emotionally focused therapy to tailor treatment plans to each client. Monitoring and documenting client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Facilitating open discussions around sensitive topics such as grief, trauma, marital discord, and family conflicts to foster a safe therapeutic environment. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and continuous improvement of clinical skills. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including couples, families, children, and adolescents. You will work with clients facing numerous challenges, including but not limited to: Substance abuse issues Interpersonal and familial conflicts Adjustment disorders related to separation and divorce Grief and loss Transitions for blended families The therapeutic relationship you establish will be crucial in helping clients navigate their unique circumstances and achieve meaningful change in their lives. Qualifications A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Exceptional communication skills to foster a trusting therapeutic rapport. A commitment to providing empathetic, nonjudgmental support to clients. Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities effectively. Preferred Experience A background in crisis intervention or trauma-informed care is a plus. Experience navigating complex family dynamics and relational issues. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital administrative tools. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from
USD 75,000
to $100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
