You will have access to the necessary technology and tools to facilitate effective therapy sessions and client interactions. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms to inform treatment decisions. Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that are responsive to their individual goals, needs, and preferences, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Implement interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address issues related to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery. Track and monitor client progress actively, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Engage in integrated care by collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive support for clients. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards. Participate in ongoing professional development activities, staying informed about the latest research and advances in the field of mood disorders. Advocate for clients' rights and needs, actively working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with individuals facing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients come from underserved communities and may also be dealing with challenges such as homelessness, refugee status, or experiences of domestic violence. Your expertise and compassionate approach will serve as a critical resource in their path to recovery. Qualifications A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients. Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' unique experiences and challenges. Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle workload and administrative tasks. Preferred Experience Experience specifically in treating mood disorders in a clinical setting. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and integration of therapeutic tools into treatment plans. Previous experience working within community health organizations or with marginalized populations. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this role ranges from
USD 70,000
