Description Position Overview Oasis Care Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team as a full-time mental health counselor. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms on their daily lives. Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that are holistic and aligned with their individual needs and aspirations. Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate skill-building and emotional regulation. Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, encompassing treatment options and the importance of self-care practices. Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as required and ensuring responsiveness to evolving client needs. Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to enhance integrated patient care. Stay current on research and advancements related to mood disorders to refine and improve treatment techniques. Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance service delivery. Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work to destigmatize mental health challenges within the community. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily serve clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. This encompasses working with individuals, couples, and families, and addressing a wide range of psychosocial stressors that impact mental health and interpersonal relationships. Your expertise will be key in providing the support and strategies necessary for clients to navigate their journeys toward mental wellness. Qualifications Possession of a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts. A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Demonstrated ability to establish trusting therapeutic relationships through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Exhibit empathy, sensitivity, and a nonjudgmental approach when dealing with clients' varied experiences and emotions. Strong organizational and time-management skills are necessary to effectively manage caseloads and administrative duties. Preferred Experience Experience providing therapy to individuals with mood disorders is preferred. Familiarity with digital therapy platforms and remote counseling best practices is an asset. Training in specific therapeutic approaches such as CBT or DBT will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 based on qualifications and experience.
