Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes. Facilitate intake processes for new clients, including medical documentation, HIPAA compliance, and thorough case management. Provide specialized counseling for issues such as PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Maintain meticulous medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards while utilizing CPT coding for billing purposes. Engage in clinical research activities and data collection to support ongoing treatment efficacy studies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in outpatient or inpatient settings to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate social work principles and behavioral health best practices. Utilize telehealth platforms to extend access to therapy services while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with medical terminology standards. Skills Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Strong experience in child & family counseling, pediatrics, geriatrics, and working with people with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Skilled in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and trauma-informed care such as PTSD care. Familiarity with

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding systems for accurate diagnosis coding and billing procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health counseling practices. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based assessment tools; experience with intake procedures is essential. Excellent communication skills for individual / group counseling sessions; adept at patient care and patient assessment processes. Experience working within outpatient or inpatient clinical settings; familiarity with hospital experience is a plus. Competence in research methodologies related to clinical research; data collection skills are highly valued. Proficiency in telehealth technology platforms ensuring HIPAA compliance during remote sessions. Understanding of special education needs when working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of ICD coding standards (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate documentation; familiarity with CPT coding for billing is advantageous.
