Job Description

Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist Rekindle Health | Premium interventional psychiatry clinic Greater Boston Area | Field-based with hybrid flexibility and periodic on-site clinic time |
Full-time Compensation:
$95K-$110K base salary DOE; eligible for performance-based bonus About Rekindle Rekindle is an interventional psychiatry platform based in the Greater Boston Area, initially focused on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and other interventional psychiatric treatments. The model is designed as a high-touch, concierge, and patient-centered experience for individuals with depression and related conditions who may benefit from non-invasive treatment options. Our aim is to revolutionize what interventional psychiatry looks like both from the patient's experience and clinical outcomes. Role Summary Rekindle is seeking an experienced, compassionate LICSW or LMFT to provide evidence-based psychotherapy, including CBT, as an integrated part of our interventional psychiatry model. The therapist will work closely with our psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, and broader clinical team to support patients receiving TMS and other interventional psychiatric treatments. The therapist will help patients build on improvements achieved through interventional treatment by addressing the behavioral, emotional, relational, and lifestyle factors that affect their mental health and recovery. The goal is to provide patients with practical skills, insight, and ongoing therapeutic support that can help translate symptom improvement into meaningful and lasting changes in their daily lives. Core Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, including CBT, to adults receiving TMS and other interventional psychiatric treatments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that complement each patient's psychiatric and interventional care.
  • Help patients address behavioral, emotional, relational, and lifestyle factors that may contribute to symptoms and recovery.
  • Monitor progress, assess safety and suicide risk, and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.
  • Collaborate closely with the psychiatric nurse practitioner and Medical Director to provide coordinated, whole-person care.
  • Coordinate with outside clinicians and other supports when clinically appropriate and authorized by the patient.
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation and contribute to the development of Rekindle's therapeutic model, workflows, and quality initiatives. Qualifications
  • Current Massachusetts LICSW or LMFT license required, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start. Candidates should have experience and appropriate qualifications to provide clinical supervision to pre-independent clinicians working toward licensure; supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults with depression, mood disorders, or complex psychiatric conditions.
  • Training or experience in CBT and other evidence-based psychotherapy approaches; experience with treatment-resistant depression strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, suicide-risk assessment, treatment-planning, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with psychiatric prescribers and other members of a multidisciplinary care team.
  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry, integrated behavioral health, or interventional psychiatry is a plus.
  • Interest in TMS and other interventional psychiatric treatments.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, highly engaged therapist who is skilled at helping patients translate symptom improvement into meaningful, lasting change. They are experienced in evidence-based psychotherapy, comfortable working with patients with complex or treatment-resistant depression, and enjoy collaborating closely with psychiatric clinicians as part of an integrated care team. They are also excited by the opportunity to help shape a new, high-touch model of care that combines psychotherapy with TMS and other interventional psychiatric treatments.
