Our center operates independently as a mental health practice, while being located on the campus of a faith-based organization. Clinical services are evidence-based, culturally responsive, and provided to individuals of all backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be clinically competent, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality care. We serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across diverse populations, offering services in-office, virtually, and within community-based settings. LPC Residents and LMFT Residents are encouraged to apply. Clinical supervision opportunities may be available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with clients' goals and faith values. Provide individual, family, and group therapy services using clinically sound and spiritually sensitive interventions. Incorporate Christian counseling frameworks while upholding ethical and cultural humility in practice. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, community partners, and faith leaders to ensure holistic care. Maintain timely, thorough documentation in compliance with HIPAA and professional standards. Offer support for clinical events, workshops, or group sessions hosted by the practice or partner churches. Stay up-to-date on best practices in behavioral health, Christian integration in counseling, and state licensure requirements. Requirements Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related clinical field. Current licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or license-eligible in the state of Virginia. Experience or strong interest in working within a Christian clinical setting. Familiarity with faith-based counseling models and evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to upholding client confidentiality and professional ethics. Availability for some evening or weekend sessions as needed.
