Port Charlotte, FL | 1099 or W-2 Position Attention Therapists! StrongMind is seeking a fully licensed therapist with experience providing couples counseling to join our Veteran-focused private practice in Port Charlotte, Florida. This is primarily an in-office position . While telehealth sessions may be provided when clinically appropriate or requested by clients, clinicians must be available to provide consistent in-person counseling sessions from our Port Charlotte office. This position is not fully remote . Although couples counseling is a primary need for this role, your caseload will also include individual therapy with Veterans and other adults . We are looking for someone who enjoys working with both couples and individuals while providing compassionate, evidence-based care. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload based on your availability and referral volume. Preference will be given to clinicians who are already credentialed with Optum , though this is not required. Who We're Looking For We're seeking a clinician who: Holds a current, unrestricted Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) Has experience and confidence providing couples counseling Enjoys providing individual therapy to adults Is passionate about serving Veterans and appreciates military culture Is available to provide consistent in-person counseling sessions in our Port Charlotte office Provides high-quality, client-centered, evidence-based care Values collaboration and consultation with colleagues Is organized, dependable, and professional Is preferably already credentialed with Optum Position Details Your caseload may include: Couples counseling Individual therapy for Veterans Individual therapy for other adults A combination of in-office and telehealth sessions, with in-person availability required Scheduling is flexible, and we'll work with you to build a schedule that fits your availability while meeting client needs.
