Work Environment The role of an LMFT at Soul Canvas Healing allows for a flexible remote work setup combined with in-person sessions as necessary. Our newly designed outpatient offices in Boston are equipped with the latest technology to support telemedicine and in-person therapy practices. We emphasize a collegial work atmosphere where therapists receive full administrative support, allowing them to focus on patient care while enjoying a strong work-life balance. Key Responsibilities In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will: Conduct therapy sessions with couples, facilitating dialogue that fosters understanding and reconciliation. Provide individual therapy sessions for each partner, addressing their unique experiences and needs. Utilize evidence-based techniques to assess and treat a diverse range of issues affecting families and relationships, including: Alcohol abuse Physical and psychological abuse Grief and loss Conflict resolution among family members and siblings Job-related stress Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce Communication challenges within families Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that align with the overall health goals of patients. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Patient Population / Client Focus The LMFT will work primarily with adult clients and child/adolescent populations, addressing various behavioral health challenges. You will have the opportunity to support families through critical transitions and complex emotional dynamics, making a significant and lasting impact in the lives of your clients. Qualifications To succeed in this position, applicants must possess: A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in Massachusetts. A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Preferred Experience Ideal candidates will have: Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly with family dynamics and relationship-focused therapy. A background in working with culturally diverse populations and an understanding of various family structures and challenges. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems. A flexible schedule to accommodate various client needs, including the possibility of evening and weekend sessions. Compensation and Benefits Soul Canvas Healing offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
