Work Environment This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, providing telehealth services to clients who may face barriers to accessing traditional in-person therapy. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health conditions to develop effective, personalized treatment plans. Provide individual and group therapy sessions employing tailored techniques that promote emotional and psychological growth. Collaborate with clients to establish realistic therapeutic goals and continuously monitor their progress on these objectives. Utilize teletherapy tools to facilitate virtual sessions for clients who require remote support, ensuring accessibility for all clients. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of client interactions to uphold ethical and legal standards in counseling. Engage in ongoing professional development initiatives, including training and workshops, to keep abreast of contemporary methodologies and best practices in mental health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Our diverse client demographic includes individuals and families grappling with a range of mental health issues, from addiction to relationship challenges. As a therapist at Compassionate Health Center, you will have the opportunity to work with couples, children, teens, and families, particularly focusing on clients from varied cultural backgrounds, including those within the LGBTQIA community. Your role will involve understanding the unique experiences of these populations and providing compassionate, culturally responsive care. Qualifications A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. Valid and current LMFT licensure in the state of Georgia. Minimum of two years of full-time experience in a clinical counseling setting. Proficiency in providing therapy to couples, families, and individuals, with particular emphasis on cultural competence and sensitivity. Preferred Experience Experience with specific populations, including clients of color and the LGBTQIA community, is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and innovative treatment approaches will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this role ranges from
USD 70,000
to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
