Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist include, but are not limited to: Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and family dynamics. Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, while also offering individual counseling when necessary. Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of concerns including alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and communication difficulties. Creating individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs and goals. Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state regulations. Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic approaches. Patient Population / Client Focus Our therapists work with a diverse population encompassing adults, children, and adolescents. You will engage with families navigating complex issues such as blended family dynamics, job stress, separation and divorce, and mother/daughter conflicts. We believe in tailoring therapy to suit the unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds of our clients, ensuring a holistic approach to mental wellness. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping clients improve their mental health. Preferred Experience While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, candidates with the following experiences are preferred: A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing therapy to families and couples. Specialization in areas such as behavioral health, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling. Competence in using telehealth platforms effectively to deliver therapeutic services. Compensation and Benefits Adaptable Life Counseling offers a competitive salary range of
USD 75,000 - 100,000
annually, based on experience and qualifications.
