Key Responsibilities Establish and cultivate a positive and trusting relationship with patients, creating a safe space for open communication. Diagnose various mental health disorders through comprehensive assessments, ensuring accurate identification of patient needs. Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored specifically to each patient's circumstances and preferences. Conduct regular therapy sessions with individuals and groups, adapting therapeutic techniques to optimize patient engagement and growth. Monitor patient progress continually and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies based on evolving needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refer clients to external specialists when additional support is needed. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a varied client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. By employing evidence-based practices, your interventions will empower clients to achieve their personal and therapeutic goals, promoting healthier lifestyles and improved emotional resilience. Qualifications Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Texas is mandatory. A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field is required. Expertise in delivering individual and group therapy is essential for success in this role. Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities are critical to effectively balance patient care and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy methodologies is an asset. Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in therapy practices. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
