Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed mental health assessments to accurately identify each patient's individual needs and strengths, forming the basis for collaborative treatment plans. Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver high-quality care to individuals, couples, and families. Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups, fostering a sense of community and empowerment among participants. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including regular case consultations and feedback sessions to improve patient outcomes. Respond effectively to mental health crises, offering immediate intervention and ongoing support through challenging situations. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the recovery process. Maintain up-to-date documentation that complies with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring all patient records are managed with the utmost confidentiality. Actively engage in professional development, team meetings, and continuous learning to stay informed about advancements in mental health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Our diverse clientele encompasses individuals from various cultural backgrounds and life experiences, allowing you to work with a rich tapestry of perspectives and challenges. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts. Demonstrated expertise in identifying and managing mental health disorders and skilled application of various therapeutic techniques. Strong interpersonal communication skills, crucial for fostering trusting relationships with clients and collaborating with team members. Sound judgment and professionalism in dealing with sensitive cases while adhering to ethical standards. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to maintaining accurate patient documentation. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, contributing positively to team dynamics and patient care. Preferred Experience While a minimum of 2 years of experience as a mental health counselor is required, candidates with a background in delivering individual and group therapy to a wide range of populations, particularly with complex mental health challenges, will be preferred. Exposure to crisis intervention and management will be seen as an asset. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from
USD 80,000
to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
