We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor . Position Summary As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide outpatient counseling services through a combination of in-office and telehealth appointments . The ideal candidate is passionate about serving clients across the lifespan, values clinical excellence, and enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and/or couples counseling to clients of all ages. Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing board requirements. Communicate effectively with clients and practice staff. Participate in team meetings and trainings as requested. Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. QualificationsRequired Active Alabama LPC, LICSW, or ALC license in good standing. Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field. Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain). Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills. Reliable internet access for telehealth services. Preferred Previous outpatient counseling experience. Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Ability to maintain a consistent caseload. Self-motivated with excellent communication and time-management skills.
