Our facility in Dallas, Texas, specializes in treating individuals experiencing challenges related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our experienced team focuses on evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring a holistic approach to healing that fosters recovery and empowerment. Work Environment This is a remote position, allowing for flexibility while still engaging in a collaborative outpatient office setting. Our clinic promotes a team-oriented culture where all staff members work together to provide integrated care. Necessary adjustments to scheduling can occur based on patient needs to ensure that we deliver the highest quality of support for those in crisis. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and establish personalized treatment plans. Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment strategies aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience among patients. Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions. Offer crisis intervention expertise, providing immediate support and stabilization for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies. Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses the full spectrum of patient needs. Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them throughout the recovery process. Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring complete confidentiality. Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities that focus on trauma-informed care. Remain informed about the latest advancements and research in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic practices. Patient Population / Client Focus This role specifically focuses on working with a diverse population of individuals affected by trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise and compassionate approach will help patients navigate their feelings and experiences, providing an avenue for healing and growth. Through individualized therapeutic interventions and group sessions, you will play a crucial role in their recovery process, ultimately leading to improved mental health outcomes. Qualifications A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas. A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting. Deep knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, with a focus on resilience-building approaches. Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor. Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, ensuring that patients feel safe and understood. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and necessary computer applications to maintain efficient documentation and communication. A strong commitment to working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, we prefer candidates who have additional experience working specifically with trauma survivors and are familiar with emergency crisis interventions. Knowledge or experience in community outreach or educational programs related to mental health will also be considered a valuable asset. Compensation and Benefits The pay for this full-time position ranges from
USD 90,000
