The role involves regular use of telehealth platforms, ensuring that you can provide effective counseling services while maintaining a suitable work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments through virtual platforms to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address their individual circumstances. Employ a variety of evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, during individual and group sessions to address the diverse needs of clients. Facilitate online psychoeducational workshops and support groups, offering participants a sense of community and shared experience in their mental health journeys. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient. Provide immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and effective response to client needs. Educate clients on their mental health conditions, possible treatment avenues, and connect them with community resources that promote recovery and well-being. Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines to uphold the integrity of patient care. Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to further enhance therapy practices and improve patient outcomes. Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in mental health therapy, integrating new findings into practice to continually improve therapeutic effectiveness. Patient Population / Client Focus At Touch of Peace, we serve a diverse client base experiencing various challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and transitions in life that impact mental health. Our therapists play a crucial role in fostering resilience and guiding clients toward recovery, promoting an empathetic environment where individuals feel understood and supported. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current licensure as either Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts. Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed mental health assessments and create effective personalized treatment plans. Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members. Knowledge and adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries within mental health practice. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using telehealth platforms for patient care. Preferred Experience At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling or therapy role, preferably in an outpatient setting or via telehealth. Experience working with diverse populations, which enhances the cultural competence of therapeutic practices. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
