Key Responsibilities Provide individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to meet each client's unique needs and mental health challenges. Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' life stressors, emotional struggles, and mental health goals, enabling effective treatment planning. Lead clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and breathing practices to enhance self-awareness and stress management. Facilitate engaging group workshops and educational classes focused on mindfulness, stress reduction strategies, and building resilience among participants. Document client progress meticulously, noting mindfulness interventions and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with therapeutic goals. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of health care providers, ensuring the integration of mindfulness practices into overall care plans. Maintain personal mindfulness practices to enrich your own understanding and effectiveness as a therapist. Participate in training sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing your skills in contemporary therapeutic practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client base primarily includes individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. We serve a diverse population, fostering an inclusive environment where clients from various backgrounds feel safe and supported. Your role will directly contribute to improving clients' emotional well-being and resilience, ultimately leading to enhanced quality of life. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California. Strong foundation in therapeutic principles with a focus on integrative approaches, particularly the use of mindfulness in therapy. Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to create a safe and supportive environment for clients. Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining confidentiality in all client interactions. Preferred Experience Experience with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and similar therapeutic modalities. Prior work in community mental health settings, with a focus on diverse client populations. Experience in conducting group therapy and workshops. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and 104,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
