Job Description

We are seeking Master's level clinical interns currently enrolled in accredited MSW, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy programs. This is a paid internship opportunity offering \$18-\$22/hour, based on your year in the program. The ideal candidate is fluent in Portuguese creole, passionate about working with multicultural populations, and eager to gain hands-on experience in outpatient mental health care. Placement Options Placement settings may vary depending on program requirements and supervisory capacity and may include: In-person outpatient setting (Brockton, MA office) Hybrid telehealth (combination of in-person and virtual sessions) School-based setting (providing services on-site in a partner school environment) Key Responsibilities Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans under supervision. Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions (in-person and/or via telehealth). Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and insurance standards. Participate in weekly supervision, case consultations, and staff meetings. Engage in outreach efforts and community-based initiatives as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client care and wellness. --- Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy. Eligible for clinical placement (2nd-year preferred, but 1st-year students will be considered). Fluent in Portuguese (required for this posting). Strong commitment to cultural humility, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with technology and willing to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems. --- What We Offer Paid internship experience with competitive hourly rate.
