Seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our growing practice. The therapist will provide outpatient psychotherapy services comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults while maintaining timely clinical documentation, collaborating in treatment planning, and adhering to professional, ethical, payer, and practice requirements. Your expertise will help individuals navigate emotional challenges, manage mental health conditions, and achieve personal growth through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively, ensuring client safety and stabilization. Actively participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote mental wellness and expand our local care network. Facilitate telehealth therapy sessions using secure EMR/EHR platforms to expand access to care remotely. Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, clinical documentation standards, and medical records management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Provide specialized counseling for clients with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction issues, and gender-related concerns. Provide evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions appropriate to client needs and the clinician's training and scope of practice. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or another appropriate behavioral health discipline. Current Illinois professional licensure or eligibility appropriate to the services performed and payer requirements. Knowledge of professional ethics, confidentiality, clinical documentation, and behavioral health standards. Ability to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ability to work independently while seeking consultation appropriately. Ability to use an electronic health record and technology necessary for clinical and administrative responsibilities. Ability to meet applicable payer credentialing and enrollment requirements. Preferred Qualifications Independent Illinois clinical licensure, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy. Experience working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or other common behavioral health needs. Training in trauma-informed or evidence-based treatment modalities. Experience serving clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Experience working with Medicaid and commercial insurance populations. Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills. Experience providing telehealth services.
