Exempt |Full-Time Job Summary:
The Mental Health Therapist will provide intensive crisis-based interventions and utilize the Trauma System Therapy (TST) approach to support children, adolescents, and families experiencing acute mental health crises. The role involves assessment, intervention, and stabilization of individuals in crisis to ensure their safety and facilitate access to ongoing mental health support. The therapist will work to address the emotional and psychological impacts of trauma and guide clients toward recovery. This position requires the services to be provided in-person with consumers and families in the clinic. Providing telehealth services are available on a very limited basis. This position is under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, to ensure that services are being performed in compliance with MHRS provider regulation and as deemed necessary by the Department of Behavioral Health. Responsibilities and Standards of Performance Must conduct a minimum of 3 services with and/or for the assigned consumers, families and collaterals Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify immediate needs and risk factors Develop and implement crisis intervention plans to address client needs effectively Facilitate family team meetings to address consumers ecosystem and needs Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on crisis resolution and trauma recovery Collaborate with clients' families, schools, and communities to create a supportive environment Participate in continuous professional development and supervision to enhance clinical skills Coordinate with other healthcare providers, emergency services, and support networks to ensure comprehensive care Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions and interventions Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and review client care plans Stay updated with best practices in crisis intervention and mental health careQualifications:
Minimum bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field Licensed as a mental health professional in Maryland Experience in providing crisis intervention services Experience working with trauma-affected individuals, particularly children and adolescents Prior experience working in an emotionally disturbed population is preferred Comfortable with serving as clinical lead for all consumers Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in high-stress situations and make quick, effective decisionsTHE PERKS

Maryland LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC or Psychologist license (Required) Other Duties and Responsibilities Attends and participates in Program Meetings/Training. The annual salary is $64,000 - $85,000 (40hours/week)- This position is eligible for $3,000 Workforce Stabilization Signing Bonus
