Job Description
Our Company is looking to hire therapists! Are you interested in being apart of a team that help others in their healing Journey? Do you believe in giving back to others in the form of therapy services? If so, our company is looking for you! Our Company is a mental health agency that helps youth and adults with mental health and addiction services.
Duties:
The Mental Health/Substance Abuse Therapist will be responsible for providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services in an outpatient facility.The specific duties will include:
1. Clinical assessments, treatment, case management, consultation, referral and education according to the individual's professional discipline. Services shall be provided in accordance with the established Ohio Mental Health and Substance Abuse Standards as well as within the scope of practice of the individual. 2. Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling to individuals, groups and families as needed to facilitate. 3. Evaluate the individual and family systems as well as assess client's functioning within work, family and routines of daily living and identify areas needing continued support, resources and treatment in order to assist clients. 4. Develop, implement, and maintain partnerships with other community providers. 5. Maintain case records to reflect the course of treatment and provide required documentation. Provide follow-up and aftercare planning services as needed. Expeditiously discharges inactive clients. 6. Provide emergency services during work hours as assigned. 7. Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and other activities, which ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations. 8. Document and submit required billable service unites, meeting utilization standards as set by service line, program and/or agency. 9. Initiate services within expected timeframe as set by agency standards. 10. Complete progress notes and service documentation within specified timeframe per company clinical documentation standards. 11. Act as liaison between referral sources, external partners and internal company service lines and programs.Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in mental health field. Must possess a license from the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board that allows for the practice of Clinical Services.Acceptable licenses are:
LISW-S, LPCC-S, LISW, LSW, and LPCC, LPC, and LMFT. Provisional licenses are acceptable for up to three (3) years as long as the provisional license is current. Must maintain a professional license and stay current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid. •This is a fee for service position. After 90 day probation possible full-time position can be available.Job Types:
