Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs and treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively and ensure client safety. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, including progress notes, medical records, and treatment goals. Collaborate with physician for medication management and higher of care. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinical ethical guidelines. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent license required. Strong knowledge of clinical counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused therapy. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for clinical documentation and medical terminology related to mental health assessments and ICD coding. Experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings with diverse populations including geriatrics or pediatrics preferred.
