Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist (Licensed Graduate Social Worker - LGSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and diagnostic evaluation tools such as ICD-10 coding. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs, clinical confidentiality policies, and HIPAA regulations. Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure client safety during acute episodes or emergencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, case management activities, and community-based services. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation within EMR/EHR systems while adhering to medical terminology standards. Participate in clinical research projects or data collection efforts to support program evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Master's degree in social work (MSW) or related field from an accredited institution; valid LGSW licensure required. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with mental health disorders, including those with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Strong knowledge of mental health interventions such as motivational interviewing, behavioral health strategies, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and crisis management. Familiarity with EMR systems, medical documentation standards, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds in home, community care settings or hospital environments. Excellent communication skills for client assessment, patient care planning, and social work collaboration.
